arsenal rebuilt as 94/14
Another school carbine has come to light, this one resides in Sweden.
All the serialed parts match, but as the nosepiece was added during a rebuild it has only
a crown stamp with no number.
Serial number is S.858
1901 dated reciever, as all
of this model appear to be.
Unit disc is marked for
16th Infantry, No.311.
As these models originally had straight bolt
handles, this one was obviously installed
new and numbered to the carbine.
As sweet and petite as the m/94 carbine is, the m/1870 rolling block carbine is even more
sweet and petite (is that possible?).
