1896 Swedish Mauser rifles
S/n 411504 made in 1917. These first two look very much like American black walnut.
S/n 431747 made in 1917.
Medium colored fiddleback walnut. S/n 182973 made in 1906.
S/n 324239 made in 1913.
Light colored fiddleback walnut. S/n 132020 made in 1903.
S/n 1727 dates to 1898 but has the later style buttplate so we can pretty much figure it was
a replacement stock. It is multi-hued with reds and browns and shows flame crotchwood fiddleback.
Its the most stunning m/96 stock I've ever seen.
